Chemical Product Dosing Engineer
We're looking for a practical, solutions-focused engineer to join our CBN+ team, supporting the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial laundry and warewash chemical dosing equipment on cruise ships around the world.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working in varied environments and delivering excellent service to customers.
Location: Flexible base, with extensive UK and international travel.
Travel: Around 75% of the role is based onboard cruise ships, with trips typically lasting 2-4 weeks and time back in lieu.
What You'll Be Doing
* Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing chemical dosing equipment for commercial laundry and warewash applications.
* Carrying out fault‑finding, diagnostics and safety checks on installed machinery.
* Working with electrical and plumbing systems in a cruise ship environment.
* Supporting onboard installation projects alongside project managers, engineers and contractors.
* Preparing equipment, accessories and consumables for installation and maintenance work.
* Completing service reports and technical documentation accurately and on time.
* Providing technical support and training to customers and end users where needed.
* Building strong customer relationships through professional, high‑quality service.
What We're Looking For
* City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installation qualification, or equivalent relevant electrical background.
* Proven experience in a field‑based or hands‑on engineering role.
* Experience working with 3‑phase equipment.
* Strong fault‑finding, diagnostic and repair skills.
* Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team.
* Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods.
* Experience in commercial laundry, warewash systems, dosing systems or plumbing would be an advantage.
