About the Role
Harrogate College are recruiting for an Assessor to join our Apprenticeship Department.
We are seeking an assessor to work on Level 2 & Level 3 Pharmacy qualifications. This role is ideal for someone who is fully qualified to assess these qualifications and who has a range of vocational assessment experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the apprenticeship department and build employer relations within the locality.
Please note, this is a variable hours contract. The number of hours will depend on the number of apprentices recruited. You will likely work a minimum of one day per week, with the potential for this to increase as the programme grows.
What You Will Do
1. You will assess Level 2 and Level 3 Pharmacy qualifications.
2. You will ensure effective management of appointments, schedules and learner caseloads.
3. You will work to engage with employers to build the case load of learners.
About You
4. You will hold a Level 3 assessor qualification and have experience assessing the workplace competence of a range of teachers/assessors.
5. You will have current and up-to-date knowledge and experience of current assessment principles and practices.
6. Be approachable and confident to discuss apprenticeship opportunities with employers.
