Are you a creative and innovative Design Engineer looking to make your mark in the world of cable containment products? Our client is on the lookout for a talented individual to join their dynamic team! If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the skills to bring ideas to life, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of new products while revamping existing ranges.
Utilise 3D CAD software to create intricate models and production drawings.
Collaborate with marketing to produce engaging materials showcasing our products.
Populate product data for part codes and bills of materials (BOM).
Organise the production of prototypes and conduct thorough testing.
Create loading information and tables to ensure product effectiveness.
Work hand-in-hand with the production team to ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing.
Troubleshoot production issues and find innovative solutions.
Design customer specials, providing associated technical information.
Assist in product training sessions and CAM programming.
What You Bring to the Table:
Design experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with team members and external partners alike.
