Our client is now creating the new position of Sales Manager to become part of its rapidly developing management team.
The Role
The right personality and sales experience are key to the success of this important role within the company. As Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in implementing the overall sales strategy and continuing to grow market share. Your focus will be on new business development and account management, requiring extensive travel within the UK and possibly Europe.

Main Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and generate business enquiries and sales leads, improving the company's market position to drive financial growth.
Identify new business opportunities and customers, building relationships to understand their requirements and developing proposals to meet those needs.
Develop and implement new business growth strategies and plans to maximise profit and value opportunities.
Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and negotiate and close deals within the guidelines set by the business.
Actively develop and manage the sales pipeline, focusing on increasing active customers and growing volume sales.
Address and resolve issues with current customers, providing strong service support and coordination, and managing negotiations regarding product, quality, and service issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction and achieve relevant company and customer KPIs.
Market the business via the website and social media to promote the company and its products, maintaining a presence at relevant exhibitions and events where appropriate.
Plan and present sales budgets to the board, recommending product policy, distribution and pricing policy, and sales plans to ensure profitable growth in line with the business objectives.
Review technical proposals from customers and work with the development team to ensure the right solutions are developed to meet their requirements.
Provide guidance for the internal customer service team to ensure good sales processes are maintained and that there is proactive follow-up on enquiries and orders
