GSL Education are pleased to recruit a committed Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a school in the Dinnington (S25) area.
As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them engage with learning in a structured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted behavioural support within the classroom.
* Implement behaviour plans and intervention strategies.
* Support pupils in managing emotions and developing self-regulation skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff.
* Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements of Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience in a behaviour support or similar role.
* Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
