Description of Job
We are looking for someone to oversee the creative life of our church, with particular responsibility for Worship and Media
//ROLE DESCRIPTION
One of the first characteristics of God that we see in the Bible is God as creator. Until the last couple of hundred years the church has been the centre of creative life in our country - we would love to see this once again in the church in our nation and in St Barnabas Church.
The role of the Creative Leader will be to oversee our worship ministry and media, with a particular brief to enable the release of creativity in St Barnabas. We have a number of skilled musicians, artists, photographers, those with a passion for recording and song writing in our church - we would love to see more of their skills and passions used for the glory of God.
Worship is key to all that we do as a church. We love to worship as a whole church family on Sunday and within our Barnabas Communities, encountering the Holy Spirit as we sing. We also place a high emphasis on producing good quality media, seeing it as a missional tool, helping us to reach the city of Cambridge with the goodness of God.
