Go back Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
Assistant Patient Pathway Co-ordinator
The closing date is 26 August 2025
Following the introduction of HIVE, our electronic patient record system, the roles and processes for our administrative staff have changed significantly. Our consultants and some of our specialist nurses need a new kind of support to help them support patients through our complex pathways. We are a fabulous team and are looking for new people to join us. You might be at the beginning of your career and want to gain some experience to grow into more senior administrative/managerial roles in the future. You might want a career change and move into the NHS for the first time. Or you might already be on that journey and want to gain different experience.
Main duties of the job
We're looking for people who are keen to develop, are organised, and adaptable. You do need to have good computer skills and be able to follow rules and regulations in managing patients waiting for appointments and treatments.
You will need to have good communication skills and enjoy working with different colleagues across the organisation. You should also feel comfortable talking to patients either on the telephone or face-to-face.
