Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Afternoon Loader to join our team. You will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate handling, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and afternoon Shifts.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 12pm-8pm
Key Responsibilities
* Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles in a timely and safe manner
* Ensure all items are handled carefully to prevent damage
* Sort and allocate products according to delivery schedules
* Use lifting equipment where necessary and follow manual handling guidelines
* Maintain a clean and organized loading area
* Follow all health and safety regulations
* Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment (preferred)
* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic
* Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
* FLT and Shunting experience Preferred. Full training provided
