We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Poling Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of Poling. You will be working in and around The Marches area. Our aim is to provide first class services to our Client – Openreach in its provision of installing telegraph poles and associated cabling works.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the area Patch Manager.
* Able to think on your feet to overcome issues that may arise.
* Organise work teams on the daily jobs tasked to them.
* Carry out safety and quality inspections on live and retrospective work.
* Be able to carry out non conformance reports via FPQ checks etc.
* Be able to act and deliver under pressure.
* Be in touch with teams throughout daily and visit them on regular intervals.
* Hold meetings with other service providers to gain traction to complete works.
* Be able to get the best out of people by
* Visit customers to arrange access or resolve issues with jobs
Experience
* It is essential you are in possession of a Streetworks card (NRASWA).
* Be reactive to instructions / issues that may occur.
* Previous managerial or supervisory experience is preferred.
* IOSH desired
* 4+ Years experience in Poling essential
