Job Title: NQ – 5 Years PQE Private Client Solicitor
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: Chester
Purpose of the Role
To manage the full range of private client matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administrations, and Trusts, while delivering a profitable contribution to the team.
To support the ongoing development of the practice in line with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* To conduct client matters with accuracy, professionalism, and in line with regulatory and quality standards (Lexcel and SRA Code of Conduct).
* To generate fee income and manage time recording, work in progress, billing, and cash collection in accordance with agreed targets.
* To actively participate in business development initiatives to grow the client base and strengthen the team’s profile.
* To provide supervision and support to colleagues, including covering fee-earning work during absences or holidays.
* To supervise other fee earners where required.
* To take part in marketing and networking activities at team, office, or wider professional levels.
* To deliver excellent client care by meeting clients in person and over the telephone, providing clear, supportive, and professional advice.
* To draft and manage correspondence and documents through the case management system.
* To ensure efficient organisation of both electronic and paper files, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving client files in accordance with office procedures.
* To attend and contribute to team meetings.
* To develop new work opportunities from existing and prospective clients, while maintaining and nurturing a strong network of professional contacts and referrers.
* To maintain strong IT and communication skills, with the ability to use case management systems, email, internet research tools, and telephony systems effectively.

Experience and Education
* Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent (NQ up to 5 years’ PQE).
* Relevant experience in private client matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, and Trusts.
