We're hiring for the UK branch of a well-capitalised overseas bank with a long-standing presence in the London market.
This isn’t a new entrant or a challenger trying to grab market share. The UK platform has been operating for many years and plays a strategic role in diversifying group risk, backed by a sizeable balance sheet.

They operate in the value-add space — acquisition finance, transitional assets, development and planning risk — typically £10m–£50m tickets.

The role:
You’ll inherit a portfolio but also be expected to originate, structure, and take deals through credit.
Credit processes are robust but efficient, with local credit authority and strong engagement from head office on larger deals.
What they’re looking for:
An accomplished real estate banker with 15+ years of experience of lending in the UK property market who can operate across the full lifecycle of a deal.
You’ll likely come from an established lender — think traditional banks or well-regarded specialist platforms — and be comfortable both sourcing opportunities and underwriting them in detail.
