We are recruiting for a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering Mechanical and HVAC projects across the North West.
This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Estimator, Pre-Construction Manager or Project Manager with strong commercial awareness and Design & Build experience.
The Role
You will manage projects from initial enquiry through to handover, building client relationships, developing technical solutions and producing accurate estimates.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing all pre-construction activities
* Building relationships with existing and prospective clients
* Undertaking site surveys
* Producing estimates, tenders and cost plans
* Reviewing specifications and design criteria
* Assisting with design development and equipment selection
* Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Managing project risks, exclusions and qualifications
* Supporting project delivery teams where required
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Mechanical / HVAC Building Services contractor background
* Design & Build project experience
* Estimating and tendering experience
* Strong technical and commercial understanding
* Client-facing and relationship-building skills
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
