Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £29,641.01 to £34,946.27 depending on experience + call out + overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Ganger, you will play a crucial role in our maintenance team, leading a small group to ensure the effective upkeep of the highway network across North Northamptonshire. Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Performing repair works on various highway assets, including tarmacadam repairs to roads, footways, kerbs, signs, and street furniture.
* Safeguarding and operating specialist equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with PUWER regulations.
* Providing guidance and training to colleagues while adhering to Kier’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
* Managing daily operations to ensure a safe working environment for both our team and the public.
* Conducting point of work risk assessments to maintain safety protocols.
* Utilizing a mobile application to document site safety information and photographs.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you can:
* Lead teams effectively and thrive under pressure in a demanding environment.
* Hold an SMSTS/SSSTS or similar qualification.
* Possess a NRSWA Operative or similar qualification.
* Drive and hold a full UK driving licence.
