The Role
The Senior Sysadmin role is to ensure that all Infrastructure services they are reliable, secure, and resilient. The key elements of the role includes:
* Infrastructure support for all cloud services, building and maintaining infrastructure resources in Azure to meet the support needs through the full product lifecycle.
* To ensure a high level of security by making sure all services meet our compliance standards, able to proactively address vulnerabilities as they appear.
* To ensure that all services are highly reliable, by ensuring that backups, disaster recovery processes and failover services are tested and maintained

* Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS) - Deployment and management of services
* Entra ID - Advanced configuration and security management
* Hybrid Environments - Azure + on-premises Active Directory integration
Security & Compliance
* Vulnerability Management - Qualys, Nessus (scanning and remediation)
* Endpoint Protection - Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps)
* Security Hardening - Server/OS hardening (CIS benchmarks, compliance)
* SIEM Solutions - Monitoring and incident response ( Sentinel )
* Audit Support - Financial and network security audits ( PCI and CE+ )
Automation & Management
* Microsoft licensing and CSP cloud cost optimization
* MDM/Deployment - Intune, Autopilot (device and application management)
Operations & ITSM
* ServiceNow - Proficient in ticketing management (incidents, requests, changes, tasks)
* Change Management - Documentation, risk assessment, CAB processes
Networking
* Content Filtering – (ForcePoint, Meraki and Defender)
