Purpose of Role
We are seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in commercial building maintenance to join our dedicated team in Lincoln.
Job Description
You would be responsible for carrying out Air-Conditioning repairs and maintenance to County Council buildings and local primary schools across Lincolnshire. While the role is AC-biased, a multi-skilled approach and basic M&E knowledge are essential.
Responsibilities
•Carry out scheduled PPMs and respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns across a range of commercial sites.
•Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of air conditioning systems including Splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX systems, and some central plant.
•Support system upgrades and retrofit installations where required.
•Produce quotations for remedial works and system replacements following service visits.
•Accurately complete electronic FGAS paperwork and ensure team SharePoint updates.
•Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
•NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (minimum requirement).
•F-Gas (C&G 2079 – Cat 1) certification is essential.
•NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable but not essential.
•Strong understanding of air conditioning systems and general mechanical building services.
•Previous experience in a similar mobile commercial maintenance role.
•Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
