About the role MG OMD are searching for an Account Executive to continue their career in paid social advertising. This person will find themselves working closely with all the major social platforms to deliver best in class advertising campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest household brands. This specific role is working on the Specsavers and Quickbooks accounts, two of the UKs most exciting brands. The Account Executive role involves being one of the day-to-day contacts for the clients that you work on, becoming a valued member of their team and building a solid, professional relationship. You will be responsible for delivering high quality work in three key areas: • Implementation - Managing and launching social advertising campaigns at any one time. Ensuring all strategic projects are on track and progress updates are supplied to the client. • Reporting - You will be responsible for producing detailed and high-quality reports and analysis for our clients. You should be able to confidently spot trends and insights and deliver learnings to clients that have a real impact on the success of their business. • Planning - Writing detailed social advertising plans in excel - which can be easily understood by the client and translatable to the relevant platforms In addition to these areas you will be involved in all aspects of managing a busy media account including, but not limited to, monitoring campaign performance & pacing, monthly finance reconciliations, liaising with clients and creative agencies to ensure campaigns go live on time, working with internal teams to manage ad hoc client requests etc Executives are expected to have some prior experience in the areas above but will be given all the necessary training to grow and progress at the agency with a clear focus on learning and development. About you • The ideal candidate will be confident, keen to continuously innovate in social, and be used to working in a busy agency environment. • Account Executives should have some prior knowledge of running advertising campaigns across paid social channels. You should ideally be experience in producing detailed media plans that make use of a variety of formats and objective across the key social channels • We are looking for strong “soft skills”, such as exceptional time management ability, and confident presentation skills. • You will need to be organised & methodical with a calm head under pressure. • You will also need to be confident working with numbers as we regularly deal with large amounts of data. Good Microsoft Excel skills are required and some experience producing PowerPoint presentations would be preferable. • As a client facing team we are looking for someone who is personable and friendly with a good client-manner. Someone who can fix problems as they arise with a smile on their face will fit in perfectly. • Previous agency experience is desirable but not essential. • As an agency with a particular focus on learning & development we are also looking for someone who is ambitious to grow and progress.
