Position Description: This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Partners with Application Development Leads to integrate quality engineering mindset/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline • Partners with Solution Architects across LOB to identify E2E application architecture changes to drive QE strategies during testing Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Years of Experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in application testing in a QE/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, Business workflows and services/APIs, databases) • 5 + years of experience in Python • 3 + year of experience in Robot Automation Framework • 3+ years of experience in API testing • Excellent knowledge of Jira, HP ALM and ReadyAPI or Postman Details regarding the types of experience required • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing efficient test strategies focused on automation • Expert in leading test case design to provide efficient optimal coverage though unit test, component/service based tests and complex “real life” test scenarios • Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (SoapUI/ReadyAPI; Robot Framework) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) • Excellent knowledge in designing and coding of automation test scrips using Robot Automation Framework, Python, Selenium and API • Excellent knowledge in complex SQL queries and working with large amount of data • Very good knowledge of UNIX and experience with Hadoop, Kafka • Excellent knowledge of DevOps and Integration of automated testing into DevOps pipeline – Excellent knowledge of Jenkins Technical Knowledge • Expert Working knowledge: Python, JavaScript, Unix, SQL, Selenium • Performance testing and Service virtualization an asset • Operating Platforms: UNIX/Linux/AIX, Windows • Platforms/Tools/Frameworks/Services/Libraries: Rest API, Jira, DevOps (Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, UCD, Docker), Jmeter, Robot • Methodologies: Agile Education / certification requirements (Specify what is required and what is preferred) • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related work experience Skills: · Financial Services · Software Architecture What you can expect from us: Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
