About the Role We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our well-established and growing team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, proactive professional who can manage a full residential conveyancing caseload while delivering exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including:
Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Re-mortgages
Transfers of equity
New build purchases
Help to Buy and shared ownership schemes
Handle transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
Carry out title checks, raise and respond to enquiries, draft legal documents, and manage exchange/completion processes.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and firm-wide procedures.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors in a professional and timely manner.
Provide clear, practical legal advice and maintain excellent client communication throughout each matter.
Contribute to team development and uphold the firm's reputation for quality and reliability.
Requirements Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive (CILEx), or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.
A minimum of 2–4 years' experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload (flexible depending on candidate).
Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
Proficiency with case management systems is beneficial.
