We are seeking a voluntary Co-opted Audit Committee Member to oversee risk management, principal risks, control environment, audits, and annual accounts. The role involves providing strategic guidance and supporting the Vice-Chancellor and Executive Team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Promote the University externally and build networks supporting its goals.
* Provide strategic leadership and contribute to committee meetings aligning with Ravensbourne’s mission, vision, and values.
* Ensure proper governance, uphold Nolan Principles, and champion equality and diversity.
* Support the Board in managing organizational risk, scrutinize risks, audits, and accounts.
* Participate in decision-making and monitor performance against KPIs.
* Build effective relationships with committee members and university leadership while respecting roles.
* Attend induction, training, and effectiveness reviews.
Committee meetings for the 2025-26 academic year are scheduled for:
* 9 September 2025
* 12 November 2025 (including a joint meeting with the Finance Committee)
* 18 February 2026
* 27 May 2026
