As a Leeds based Mechanical Engineer working on water related projects, it is essential that you have experience of carrying out the following: Producing a scope of works and feasibility studies Initial and detailed design drawings Carbon reduction works, both embodied and in-use Writing performance specifications Reviewing tender responses and Carrying out site supervision including acceptance testing and commissioning. It is essential that you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering at 2.1 or above coupled with experience of working on water control structures, pumping stations and systems as well as other aspects such as those for water transfer, screening, drives, lifting systems and materials handling.
