CNC Turner - Hinckley, England Major Recruitment are looking to hire a reliable and motivated CNC Turner to join our client's skilled team in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy and supportive environment using a variety of modern CNC turning machines. Position: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday Shifts Available: day shift or night shift avaliable Overtime: Available at x1.5 (after standard hours) Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC lathes (e.g., Doosan, Mazak, Fanuc-controlled equipment). Read and interpret technical/engineering drawings. Machine components to tight tolerances and quality standards. Carry out program edits and tool offsets where required. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, verniers, and other standard measuring equipment. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and perform basic machine maintenance. What We're Looking For Previous experience in CNC turning or a similar precision machining role preferred. Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Willingness to learn new skills and machine types (training provided). Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
