West Berkshire Council is seeking a Housing Business Support Assistant to join our dynamic Housing Service team, reporting to the Housing Support Team Leader.The RoleAs a Housing Business Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective business support within the Housing Service. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Processing and managing incoming administration requests and enquiries
* Providing administrative support, including data entry, record keeping, and maintaining accurate information
* Assisting with the production of reports, correspondence, and documentation
* Coordinating and scheduling meetings, ensuring appropriate arrangements are made
* Handling enquiries from customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders
* Supporting the smooth operation of the Housing Service by undertaking ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
* A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently
* Experience in providing administrative support within a business environment
* Knowledge or experience within the housing sector would be advantageous, but not essential
