The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Development Analyst to support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, control, and optimisation across our real estate portfolio.
This role will sit at the intersection of finance, development, and operations, ensuring that capital is deployed efficiently and aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain CAPEX budgets, forecasts, and tracking models across development and operational assets
* Analyse cost plans, contractor pricing, and procurement strategies
* Monitor CAPEX deployment vs budget, identifying variances and risks
* Support feasibility studies and development appraisals
* Evaluate ROI on capital projects and value-add initiatives
* Conduct cost-benefit and scenario analysis on development strategies
* Collaborate with development, finance, and asset management teams
* Assist in reporting to senior stakeholders, investors, and lenders
* Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements
What We’re Looking For
* Background in Real Estate, Finance, Construction Economics, or similar
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
* Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, or cost analysis
* Understanding of development processes and CAPEX lifecycle
* Ability to interpret technical, financial, and operational data
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
