Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our retail team In this vital role, you will lead daily Shopping Mall operations, motivate and develop Staff, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your energetic leadership will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and uphold our high standards of service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their management skills in a fast-paced environment while making a positive impact on both customers and team members.

Duties

* Oversee daily Control Room operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company policies.
* Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
* Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating purchasing and merchandising efforts.
* Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
* Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team.
* Implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost store performance.
* Maintain accurate cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping records, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions.

Experience

* Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery store environments.
* Strong management skills with demonstrated success in team leadership and store operations.
* Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
* Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math for pricing and sales analysis.
* Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, scheduling, budgeting, and shift management.
* Familiarity with merchandising techniques, stock replenishment, purchasing processes, and retail marketing strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service.
