The Credit & Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the credit analysis and treasury activities for all INEOS Automotive entities. The jobholder will need to communicate regularly with our day-to-day transactional banks and internal stakeholders in respect to all credit and treasury activity. This includes recommendation and monitoring of internal credit limits, the day-to-day cash management across multiple legal entities and currency accounts, supporting the operation of our external working capital and trade finance facilities and managing the weekly cashflow forecasting. The is part of the HQ Finance team and reports to the Head of Investor Relations.
Responsibilities:
Credit Management
* Recommend credit limits for customers globally
* Liaise with credit insurers and INEOS Automotive commercial and legal teams to ensure optimum credit limits are in place for each customer
* Continuous improvements in work processes related to the company’s credit management
Day-to Day Cash management
* Take responsibility for cash management activities, ensuring adequate cash is available to run the business smoothly in all locations, managing cash pooling, payment approvals, bank charges and FX risks.
* Lead & develop relationships with our transactional banks
External banking facilities support
* Support with operation of the inventory and receivables financing, as well as trade financing facilities. This includes drawing down cash from facilities, ensuring repayments and regular interest payments are made on time, providing the banks with both standard reports and other ad-hoc information including periodic audits, and ensuring we have appropriate controls in place.
Cash forecasting
* Lead weekly cashflow forecast process for INEOS Automotive
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance related field plus an Accounting, Treasury or Credit qualification or qualified by experience
* Experience in an accounting firm, bank or treasury function of a business
* Flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs
* Proactive and driven, with good time management and organisational skills, to meet strict deadlines
* Great attention to detail, promotion of high standards and delivery of high-quality, accurate, outputs
* Excellent numeracy and analysis skills, advanced MS Excel user
* Able to present information clearly, both in written form and face-to-face
