Payroll Coordinator – 6-Month FTC
Location: York (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

What you'll be doing:
* Processing monthly payroll for multiple companies, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
* Managing PAYE/NI payments, reconciliations, and HMRC submissions (RTI).
* Handling starters, leavers, and compliance with all payroll documentation.
* Administering expense claims in line with HMRC requirements.
* Producing P11Ds and P60s within set deadlines.
* Ensuring auto-enrolment compliance for all staff.
* Managing payroll queries from employees and HMRC.
* Supporting the Payroll Manager with wider payroll strategy and objectives.
About you:
We're looking for someone with:
* Previous experience in payroll.
* Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll software.
* Experience with Dayforce (advantageous, but not essential).
A professional payroll qualification (e.g. Certificate in Payroll Administration, Payroll Technician Certificate, or Diploma in Payroll Management) would be desirable but not essential.
