You will be responsible for winning new business and selling our freight services to potential new clients and existing customers. This role will include full account management of clients from initial telesales to delivery and we will look for the successful candidate to achieve profit growth through the effective management of customers. We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individuals with a real passion for account management that will go the extra mile to understand the need of each and every one of our customers and offer a tailored account manager service adding real value to their business offering unrivalled accountability in the industry.Your ResponsibilitiesGenerate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephoneConsistently grow the gross profit and achieve the targets as set out in the Sales SchemeAchieve Sales productivity and revenue targetsProvide a high level of internal and external customer carePrepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Sales ManagerProvide customers with accurate and cost effective quotations.Experience working in a proactive telesales or cold calling role ideally with outbound telesales experienceExperience of working to targets and KPI’sExperience of generating own sales leads would be beneficialStrong administration and organisation skillsAbility to influence othersExperience of working in a proactive sales role either on the phoneManage the accounts in your business base by maintaining and developing the levels of business within that client base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplierGCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent)Degree is advantageousCall centre experience is advantageousJob Type: Full-timePay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionFlexitimeFree parkingOn-site parkingReferral programmeAbility to commute/relocate:Blackburn BB1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):Do you have business to business selling experience? xwzovoh Do you have telesales outbound cold calling experience?Work Location: In person
