Overview
We are seeking a head chef to join our kitchen team. Applicants must have experience working in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant kitchen environment and be confident managing the pass and a team of great people around them.
A good personality, flare, passion and a creative mindset for menu planning are essential and share our vision for cornerstone along with extensive knowledge in HACCP

Duties
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Develop and design innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and cater to diverse tastes.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
* Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
* Manage kitchen budgets, controlling costs while maintaining quality in food production.
Experience
* Proven experience within a professional kitchen environment.
* Extensive culinary experience with a strong emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering collaboration among kitchen staff.
* Previous experience in a cafe/restaurant setting is essential, with a solid understanding of hospitality principles.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
