The (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) ED&I manager is responsible for developing and implementing the ED&I strategy for Halfords and championing ED&I initiatives across the group.
The ED&I manager will lead on the ED&I agenda and work with senior leaders, colleagues, and interest groups to promote ED&I across the organisation, and to measure it’s impact.
The ED&I manager reports into the Talent Director and will be a member of the Talent Leadership Team and the wider Halfords People Team.
Key Accountabilities
1. Build, socialise and maintain the ED&I strategy
2. Design and implement initiatives that will have a positive impact on ED&I within the Halfords Group
3. Coach, guide and support our managers in understanding, promoting and role modelling inclusive behaviors in Halfords
4. Working with our people team, review and update all ED&I related policies
5. Devise actions, activities and projects to help us deliver our ED&I goals
6. Working with the respective CofE/Business functions, define the goals for each touchpoint and business area
7. Measure, track and report on ED&I goals and metrics and provide insight to prompt further action
8. Support in the writing of the ED&I element of the Company’s Annual Report
9. Lead the Halfords ED&I Council
10. Coordinate the running of Halfords Colleague Network Groups (CNG’s)
11. With the support of the CNG’s, organize ED&I events and celebrations
12. Identify ED&I training requirements, being the SME for content design for these programmes
13. Work with outside agencies and charities furthering the ED&I cause
14. Champion ED&I in Halfords and communicate regularly to our colleagues and stakeholders
15. Develop and lead stakeholder management, communication and change plans associated with designated initiatives and programmes. Work with respective HRBPs, Corp Communications and/or change management partners on engagement strategies to ensure timely and effective communication and adoption of programmes and initiatives
16. In addition, lead on the Charity work within Halfords and work with our Charity partnerships to maximise our charity fundraising
