Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Bench Operative to join our production team. You will be responsible for maintaining close tolerances, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. This position requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and the ability to work within a rotating shift pattern. Experience in an aerospace or similar close-tolerance environment is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the quality of all work produced and maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to optimize production schedules and ensure parts meet exacting standards and finish drawings. Manage production changes and work proactively with the department team. Main Duties: Operate hand tapping equipment and air-operated hand tools. Interpret and work from engineering drawings. Work to close tolerances and maintain precision. Record quantities and time taken using company systems. Follow controlled standard operating procedures for surface finishing and geometry. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Skills : Computer literate (email and basic systems). Physically fit; some lifting involved. Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment. Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern.
