The University of Nottingham Students’ Union has an exciting opportunity for a Social Enterprise Coordinator Part Time, 17.5 hours per week Permanent Contract Who are we and what do we do? As a registered charity we act as the recognised representative body of all students at the University, and every student is automatically a member free of charge. We provide a range of activities, events, campaigning, commercial and professional services that benefit and support students to get involved, find support, and make change. Through our trading company, UNU Services Limited, we run two SPAR shops, a bar, coffee shop, clothing shop and a print shop. T he Social Enterprise Coordinator Role: The Social Enterprise Coordinator will provide administrative support to the various areas within the social enterprise directorate. This support will enable the social enterprise operational teams to work more efficiently and focus on the effective service delivery to our students and customers in our income generating areas. This support will incorporate some data processing, liaising with both internal and external departments such as SU finance, suppliers etc. and assisting with recruitment of our large student staff team. This particular role will involve using various software platforms including excel, so a high level of digital and IT competency is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to both work in a varied team dynamic and being able to proactively manage own workload are key. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative function or customer service role as well as presenting information to a range of audiences with differing levels of knowledge.
