The Role
A leading independent creative agency is looking for a
Freelance Social Account Manager
to provide cover while a member of the team is on extended leave. The role will sit across a portfolio of
high-profile consumer brands
, supporting day-to-day social delivery and acting as the key client contact.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams, ensuring social activity runs smoothly across always-on and campaign-led activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as
day-to-day client contact
across social accounts, building strong and trusted relationships
* Own
end-to-end delivery
of always-on and campaign social activity
* Manage timelines, scopes, budgets and deliverables across multiple workstreams
* Brief and coordinate
creative, social, influencer and production teams
* Oversee content calendars, approvals, feedback and amends
* Support reporting, insights and performance reviews
* Ensure all work is delivered
on time, on budget and on brand
Required Experience
* 3-6+ years' experience as a
Social or Integrated Account Manager
(agency-side)
* Strong experience working on
consumer, FMCG or retail brands
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders and fast-paced accounts
* Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
* Able to step into existing accounts and add value quickly
Nice to Have
* Experience covering accounts during periods of leave or transition
* Exposure to influencer or creator-led social activity
* Familiarity with integrated agency environments
