Our Projects team manages a wide range of installations and upgrades, and were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping projects running smoothly.The RoleAs a CCTV and Access Control Engineer, you will support our clients with the installation and ongoing maintenance of their building security systems on time and within budget. You will play an essential role in ensuring our installations are skilfully delivered, clearly communicated, and of good quality so that our clients are delighted by the results.Key Responsibilities of the CCTV and Access Control Engineer :Installation and maintenance of IP-based CCTV and Door Access Control (DAC) systems for clients in various sectors including commercial and education.The engineer is responsible for providing these services in an effective and efficient manner; and within established time limits.Theyll be looking for the opportunity to develop their career into a more senior position over time, or be an experienced engineer who is seeking a new challenge in a forward thinking and dynamic company partnered with high-quality converged vendors (such as Avigilon, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Paxton, Verkada and others)Qualifications & Skills:EssentialProven experience in CCTV / DAC installationsSelf-motivation, a strong work ethic, along with the ability to work as part of a teamThe ability to think laterally - finding an appropriate solution to fulfil an applicationThe ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloadHighly computer literateThe ability to work to the highest quality standards (NSI compliance for example)Attentive to detail at all timesThe ability to comply with safety rules and regulations of site workingGood communication skills both written and verbal at all levelsFlexible approach to working hoursFull/Clean UK Driving Licence essentialEnhanced DBS Disclosure - essentialECS/CSCS Card or equivalent - desirableNVQ or equivalent in Security Installations - desirableDimensions of the roleInstall of a variety of security solutions to NSI complianceFault finding, testing and commissioningContainment installation including trunking, conduit, tray and basket workLiaising with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of worksProfessional and effective communication with management, colleagues and customersWorking in various environments (internal/external/working at heights)Planned preventative maintenance work for clientsEnsure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork including job packs and delivery notes and the maintaining of accurate records of the onsite installationEnsure photographic evidence of install is taken and downloaded on completion of jobsWhat We OfferA salary of between £36,000 to £44,000 per annum depending on experience.22 days holiday plus bank holidaysA supportive and collaborative team environmentReady to Apply?If you are a CCTV and Access Control Engineer who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, wed love to hear from you.Apply today to join entrust IT and help deliver technology projects that make a real impact.TPBN1_UKTJ
