What you'll be doing:
* People are the reason you love retail! You'll warmly welcome every customer and immerse them in the world of Hotel Chocolat.
* Discover your customers' needs and reason for their visit through friendly conversation.
* Delight your customers through product demonstrations and tasting sessions, ensuring to check for allergens throughout your time with them.
* Close the sale and confidently recommend additional products such as gift bags.
* Genuinely thank your customer for shopping with us, ensuring they leave happy.
* Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
* Respond to customer feedback.
* Work with your team to support deliveries and stock management, keeping the delivery area clear and tidy in line with health and safety guidelines.
* Maintain the appearance of the store and café areas to a high standard.
* If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks according to guidelines and processes while keeping the area immaculately clean. Focus on upselling to your customer.
* Support where you can to the success of your store and team.
