We're looking for a Customer Account Manager to join our team.

As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll work closely with our Sales team and Customer Success Managers to drive revenue growth, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and maximise the potential of our Sage Intacct customer base.

In this new role that has been created at Datel, you will manage and close sales opportunities, ensuring quarterly and annual margin targets are met. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders within our Intacct customer base and take commercial responsibility for customers’ Intacct subscriptions post-sale.

You will identify and close opportunities for additional modules, licenses, ISVs, Fusion, and services while collaborating with the Customer Success team to maximise account potential. Attending handover meetings before new implementations begin and strategically expanding Intacct adoption within customer organisations will be key aspects of your role.

Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately forecasting pipeline to the Sales Director and working closely with Sage to support their sales targets.


What To Bring

You will possess all the attributes of a successful base salesperson. The ability to engage with, understand, and qualify customer’s requirements, working with other teams in the business to successfully position Datel and Sage’s offerings, negotiate and close sales, and exceed targets effectively.

You will need to work in a modern way, in line with the types of organisations and individuals who make up our Intacct base. A pre-existing knowledge of the Sage Intacct solution, modules and ISV products would be advantageous, but is not essential.

You will be driven, competitive, and able to take responsibility for this growing part of the business. Being comfortable representing the business externally, when necessary, whilst always working in accordance with Datel’s values.

You’ll report into the Sales Director, Tom James, and work closely with the wider sales function; new business sales consultants, account managers and pre-sales consultants. You’ll also collaborate regularly with our Customer Success Manager as well as our Services Director, R&D Director and Product Manager to explore and roll out new opportunity or revenue streams, which could include new partners, products or routes to market which would benefit our Intacct base. Also, our Marketing team on campaigns and customer events.
