What You'll Do:
Champion safety by ensuring adherence to group Safety policies and fostering a culture of safety in your area of responsibility.
Lead, motivate, and develop a talented Engineering team, setting clear goals and regularly reviewing performance.
Support the development and enhancement of safe systems of work, ensuring the highest standards.
Deliver exceptional service to customers, effectively managing quality issues and participating in audits.
Maintain facilities and equipment to the highest standards, implementing robust Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) systems.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes to elevate operational excellence.
Manage budgets for labor, materials, and capital expenditure while ensuring efficient use of resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production, quality, and cost efficiencies.
What We're Looking For:
A degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Proven experience in managing engineering teams and projects, with a focus on delivering results.
Strong project management skills and adaptability to manage changing priorities.
Manufacturing experience, ideally in the textile industry, is a definite plus.
Proficiency in IT and ERP software to streamline operations.
