Premier Work Support is seeking a permanent Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator to work for their client based in Basildon. As the Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the global movement of goods, managing import and export processes, and ensuring that all shipping, warehouse, and purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the delivery of products and materials worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch. Liaison with courier and freight companies to obtain quotes, arrange collections, and track shipments. Ensuring compliance with international trade, customs, and export control regulations. Preparation and verification of all import/export documentation Ensuring tariff codes, incoterms, and commodity codes are correctly applied to all shipments. Maintaining relationships with logistics partners and resolve any delivery or customs issues promptly. Overseeing goods in and goods out activities, ensuring all items are accurately logged and recorded in SAGE 200. Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
