HG Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work involving a mixture of multidrop and trunking work for our client based in Bolton. The role involves clean and straightforward delivery and possible to distribution centres.

Rates Class 1 (approx.£831.05 weekly. circa£43,214.60 per annum on days)
Class 1 days - £14.41
Class 1 days (after 12 weeks) - £15.11
Class 1 nights - £15.92
Class 1 nights (after 12 weeks) - £16.62
Rates Class 2 (approx.£780.45 weekly, circa£40,582.80 per annum on days)
Class 2 days - £13.49
Class 2 days (after 12 weeks) - £14.19
Class 2 nights - £14.91
Class 2 nights (after 12 weeks) - £15.61

Duties:
Driving and Delivering: Operate articulated lorries (HGVs) over 3.5 tonnes, transporting goods to various locations, including local, national deliveries.
Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure that all items are secured properly for transit, minimizing the risk of damage.
Route Planning: Plan delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations, adapting to traffic and weather conditions as necessary.
Customer Interaction: Maintain regular contact with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
Requirements:
HGV C+E (Class 1 or Class 2) licence
Digi Tacho & CPC cards
Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
Good national geographical awareness
