What You'll Be Responsible For
As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Providing administrative and legal support to solicitors and other legal professionals within the Corporate Team.
* Assisting with the preparation, drafting, formatting, and proof-reading of corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
* Supporting the coordination and execution of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
* Conducting legal research and compiling findings for review by solicitors.
* Assisting with the organisation and management of due diligence materials and transaction documentation.
* Scheduling and preparing for client meetings, court hearings, and internal briefings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes where required.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, case files, and databases related to corporate matters and client interactions.
* Monitoring changes in corporate law and compliance requirements, and assisting in updating internal processes and documentation accordingly.
* Assisting with client correspondence and building professional relationships through prompt and courteous communication.
* Any other duties as directed by your line manager or Director.
