We are now seeking an Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our growing team at our Annan Headquarters. This role is ideal for applicants at various stages of their electrical career, from newly qualified candidates to experienced panel builders.
About the Role
As an Electrical Control Panel Builder, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing high-quality control panels used across major industrial and automated systems.
Key Duties Include:
* Working closely with the Panel Shop Foreman, Design Engineers, and Project Managers.
* Laying out control panel chassis plates and doors.
* Carrying out accurate control wiring following electrical schematics.
* Testing completed control panels to meet performance and safety standards.
* Occasionally completing panel modifications in-house or on customer sites.
* Supporting electrical installation work where required.
Skills & Experience (Preferred)
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
* Strong understanding of electrical control wiring principles.
* Attention to detail and confident troubleshooting skills.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is beneficial but not essential.
* Previous experience in industrial electrical environments is an advantage.
