Location: Yeovil
Salary: £38,518.48 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 07:00-15:30 | Friday 07:00-12:00

The Role
* Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a strong focus on fault finding and repair
* Diagnose and repair issues on single and three-phase systems, motors, and control equipment
* Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics to support effective fault diagnosis
* Perform electrical testing, installation, and basic PLC fault finding
* Support mechanical repairs, including fabrication, welding (MIG & TIG), and machining when required
* Maintain accurate records using CMMS systems
* Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
About You
* Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification
* Proven electrical fault‑finding, diagnostics, and repair skills, including work on single and three-phase systems
* Ability to test, maintain, and repair motors, control panels, and electrical equipmentCompetent in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams
* Experience or working knowledge of PLC fault finding and diagnostics
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and industrial automation
* Solid mechanical maintenance capability to support plant operations when required
* Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Experience using tools, workshop machinery, and maintenance equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
* Capability to support mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, and machining as required
