3. Manage and maintain the company's credit control processes effectively.
4. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce overdue debts.
5. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies or payment issues promptly.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth payment processes.
7. Prepare regular reports on account status and outstanding debts for management review.
8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and finance, to address account queries.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all credit control activities.
10. Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required by the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Proven experience in credit control or a similar accounting and finance role.
12. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
13. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
14. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
15. A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
