Personal Assistant – Barclays
Join us as a Personal Assistant at Barclays, where you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to one Managing Director and two Directors within our Retail Banking – Current Accounts & Payments business. You will manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and act as a trusted point of contact for senior leadership, while also supporting key business processes and liaising with external organisations and stakeholders.
Purpose of the role
To provide administrative and organisational support to executives, managers, or teams. To manage schedules, acting as a trusted point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient task management, and a professional presence for their assigned individuals or teams.
Responsibilities
* Management of executive, managers or team calendars and overseeing timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.
* Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation, ensuring timely and efficient travel for the executive or team.
* Proactively anticipating the needs of the executive or team, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion.
* Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, and ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management and organisation management tasks.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in diary management for senior leaders.
* Great organisational skills and action-oriented mindset.
* The ability to work flexibly, in order to manage competing demands.
* Experience in building well-established networks to ensure effective delivery.
* Experience in booking travel and expenses.
* Experience liaising with external organisations.
Location
This role is based in London, Northampton, Manchester, or Glasgow.
