Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift
📍 Middlesbrough | 💷 £43,600 + Shift Allowance | 🕑 Permanent, Full-Time
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation in the Teesside area. This role is night shift only and offers a competitive salary of £43,600 plus shift allowance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant, machinery, and equipment
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
Work as part of a team but also take ownership of individual tasks and priorities
🎯 Requirements
Time-served engineer with a strong background in multi-skilled maintenance (mechanical and/or electrical)
Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar environments
Ability to work independently on fault finding and repair
Strong understanding of health & safety standards
Flexibility to work night shifts only
