Procurement Manager / Consultant to join Midlands Commercial & Procurement team. Our Client, a renowned organisation operating in the Infrastructure and Transportation sector, is seeking a Procurement Manager / Consultant to contribute to high-quality services within dynamic environments, collaborating with clients across public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
* Advise and support in various procurement, commercial, and supply chain requirements
* Engage with clients and supply chain partners to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges
* Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities and ensure maximum value within the supply chain ecosystem
* Develop and implement procurement strategies, define requirements, and manage supplier relationships effectively
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in infrastructure, construction, engineering, or related fields
* Proficiency in working with construction contracts such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC
* Knowledge of UK regulated markets and procurement regulations
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to develop commercial governance procedures and systems
* Business development and bid writing experience
* Relevant chartership and qualification progress (MRICS, MCIPS, MCIOB or equivalent)
* Data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Power Bi, Tableau
