Job Title: On-Call Children's Residential Support Worker
Reports to: On Call Supervisor
Salary: Flat rate of £60 each day you are on call, plus the rate of £12.50 - £16.50 hourly if called upon.

White Trees Group, part of SureCare Residential provides safe, supportive homes for young people facing complex challenges.
WhiteTrees have created this role to support any staff shortages within the homes, the on-call role requires you to be available to attend shifts in all homes across Hertfordshire and Essex, inclusive of days, sleep in's and weekends. We will have a 24 hour 7 day a week operation, where you will book your on-call shifts in advance.
Personal Specification
You will be:
* Calm and grounded even under pressure, with the ability to set clear, consistent boundaries
* A supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness
* Ready to embrace the unpredictable but incredibly rewarding world of children's residential care
* Driving License is essential.
* Be extremely reliable and committed
What You'll Do:
* Be available to attend and carry out your booked shifts.
* Support daily living, independence skills, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
* Ensure the home is tidy, welcoming, and complete handovers and accurate recording.
* Participate in therapeutic care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour strategies.
* Administer medication and support travel, activities and appointments when needed.
* Maintain professional boundaries and follow policies and safeguarding procedures.
* Work as part of the team: attend meetings/training, contribute to shift evaluations, uphold the home's ethos.
* Work collaboratively with your team, attend meetings and training and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
