Job Details Description Function Summary: The primary function of the position is to manage all material movements within the facility, transacted in a timely fashion onto the ERP system. This will include receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch. Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities Loading and unloading vehicles, Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring any discrepancies are reported immediately before receiving them onto the system. Ensuring all parts are booked into the system and put away promptly Issuing materials to and from the designated areas using the inventory management System Ensuring all paperwork is scanned and filed. Regularly completing stock counts and reporting discrepancies where applicable. Pulling together job kits by printing Job lists and delivering to internal and external customers via order picking, wrapping products, packing, labelling and shipping Ensure all orders are dispatched within the deadlines Reviewing and ordering factory consumables on a regular basis Ensure that all company material storage/stock areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition and that the materials are always stacked safely Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to, and enforcing, all safety procedures and policies inside and outside the facility, including use of personal protective equipment and McLanahan equipment as required. Assisting departmental Managers in the enforcement of the correct administration disciplines to ensure efficiency Represent McLanahan Corporation in a positive manner both internally and externally while adhering to the organization’s core values. Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner. General housekeeping in all areas Using Forklift and other equipment to complete tasks Physical Requirements This position is typically located in a factory setting and requires standing for long periods of time. Educational/Other Requirements Educated to GCSE level; Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English. Previous experience working in a fast-paced stores environment Valid Forklift license, Desirable Computer literacy including MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
