Job Description
At our Shiregreen nursery children learn through outstanding play and activities designed to aid their development. This can only be achieved by having incredible staff members who deliver these activities. We are looking for an experienced Room Leader to help lead our practitioners and apprentices and help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

Your Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of practitioners and apprentices.
* Identify knowledge gaps and work with the nursery manager to fill them through ongoing training.
* Ensure all reporting is up to date and filed accordingly.
* Participate and sometimes lead staff training, meetings, workshops and open days.
* Encourage and support key children to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.
* Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times and report any breaches to the designated safeguarding lead immediately.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years qualification.
* Minimum 1 year experience working in a day nursery with children under 2.
* Completed enhanced DBS certificate.
* 2 satisfactory reference requests upon offer.
