What You'll Do
The Communications and Marketing Officer supports the delivery of the Communications and Marketing strategy for Yorkshire District, promoting the work of Forestry England and increasing the district’s visibility. You will create engaging and dynamic content to support and promote our activities, including recreation, ecology, forestry, heritage, civil engineering, fundraising, projects and estate management. The role also involves bringing the district’s visual and written content to life and championing the diverse work within the district.
Where you'll work
The post is initially based at Forestry England’s Yorkshire Office in Pickering, moving to the Dalby Forest Office in autumn 2027. Regular travel around Forestry England’s estate in Yorkshire is required, with occasional trips outside Yorkshire for organisation-wide meetings.

How to Apply
You will be asked to submit a 200-word statement on your relevant experience and a personal statement of no more than 500 words, assessed during the application process. Interviews will include behaviour-based questions. The behaviours assessed are:

Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check and government baseline personnel security standard check.
