Welford on Avon Primary School is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our experienced and supportive team. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in supporting teaching and learning across the school. The successful candidate will work within one of our classes, but flexibility is essential, as support may be required in other areas of the school when needed. Hours are 30.85 hours per week (additional hours are available in Breakfast Club, Wraparound Club and After School Clubs). The successful candidate will be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to promoting the wellbeing and progress of all pupils. Full induction and safeguarding training will be provided, and the post is subject to a six-month probationary period. Additional responsibilities include: • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, both in class and in small groups. • Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and preparation. • Supervising and engaging children during the lunchtime period. • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including our before and after school provision.
